The small coastal town of Setúbal is known for its fish, its wines and its wild and protected mountains. Ideally located on the Sado River estuary, Setúbal has a history and industry closely linked to the sea. Without forgetting the Convent of Jesus with its church, built in the 15th century, and a visit to the labor museum, to discover the industrial heritage, handicrafts linked to commerce and the old canning factories, and the Miradouro de São Sebastião with views of the estuary do Sado and the Tróia peninsula.
