Lisbon, due to its geographical position, has always been a meeting point of different cultures. The era of great discoveries influenced the city, opening it towards its river, the Tagus and towards the Atlantic. Belém was the most representative place in that time. Discover with me the heritage, the history and the atmosphere of one of the most emblematic neighborhoods of Lisbon. We will visit the Belém district with the famous Tower, the Monument to the Discoveries and the Church of the Monastery of Jerónimos, a very famous Manueline-style monument, a World Heritage Site.
